J. Brandon Neal is Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary of Walgreens. In this role, he serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO, senior leadership team, and Board of Directors, overseeing the company’s legal, compliance, and government relations functions.

Previously, Brandon served as Deputy General Counsel for Walgreens Boots Alliance and led the recent go-private transaction with Sycamore Partners. He has also held senior legal leadership roles at Novant Health and Wells Fargo, where he advised boards and executive teams on complex regulatory, governance, and transactional matters across healthcare and financial services. He began his legal career as a corporate transactional associate at Simpson Thacher & Bartlett in New York.

Brandon is actively involved in civic and nonprofit leadership, including service on multiple nonprofit boards nationally and locally. He holds a J.D. from Duke University School of Law and a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Kenan-Flagler Business School).
