Heidi Deiner is the National Executive Director of the Private Equity CFO Association, founded in 2001 by Citizens Bank. The organization has over 1,500 members with nine chapters across the country. Prior to working for Citizens, Heidi was the Founder and President of HLM Consulting, a boutique consulting firm providing outsourced business development services, strategic marketing plans and productive networking solutions to companies within the alternative investment industry. She was the Director of Business Development & Client Relations for Murray Devine, a national middle-market valuation firm, where she was responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients while assisting with the firm’s general business development efforts. Her past clients also include RSM McGladrey, David N. Deutsch & Company, QED Financial Systems, and 4VCO.

Heidi was an active member of the Association for Corporate Growth’s New York Chapter (ACG NY) where she served in a variety of leadership positions including Vice President of Membership, Vice President of Programming, and a founding member of the Women of Leadership. In 2014, Heidi was elected by her peers to become the first female President and Chairperson in ACG NY’s 64-year history. In 2017, she was awarded the ACG Meritorious Service Award by ACG Global at their annual InterGrowth Conference and was recognized with the Chapter Leadership Award at the ACG NY Champion Awards. She was a founding board member of ACG Cares New York, a charitable foundation dedicated to helping college and graduate students from a range of social backgrounds advance their networking and find their first job in the middle market. Heidi was also a founding member of the NY Women’s Association of Venture and Equity (WAVE) and was chairperson of the Private Equity International CFO/COO Forum in 2018 and 2023.
