Mkhail is a managing director in the External Investing Group (XIG) within Goldman Sachs Asset Management, serving as global head of Technology for XIG. Prior to assuming his current role, he held several Engineering leadership roles in Goldman Sachs Asset Management, within the Alternative Investments & Manager Selection (now XIG) and Goldman Sachs Investment Partners groups. Mikhail joined Goldman Sachs in 2012 as an associate and was named managing director in 2021. Prior to joining the firm, Mikhail was a software developer at Aristeia Capital, a convertible arbitrage hedge fund. Mikhail earned a BS in Computer Science from Binghamton University and an MS in Financial Engineering from New York University.
