Mr. Adler is the CFO and COO of AACP. In addition to overseeing finance, administration, compliance, human resources, product management and operations, he is a member of the Investment Committee and responsible for establishing and managing processes to ensure that each private manager in which AACP invests is able to best leverage the Azimut system.
Mr. Adler has over two decades of leadership positions at leading financial services firms. Mr. Adler began his Wall Street career as a Securities Analyst at Goldman Sachs. He then transitioned to the operations side of Goldman Sachs, leading the Management Controls Division in Asia, where he not only founded the Asia New Products Committee, but also helped negotiate the firm’s joint ventures in India and Indonesia. Mr. Adler then took a role in Goldman’s corporate services division, as Head of Logistics in New York and Head of Corporate Services to U.S. and Asian regional offices.
Mr. Adler joined Bear Stearns Asset Management in 2000 as CAO. Mr. Adler transitioned to Head of Product Management where in addition to helping grow AUM across the BSAM platform, he worked on strategic acquisitions, seeding and staking new managers. Mr. Adler was involved in the firm’s international joint ventures in Israel, Saudi Arabia and China.
From 2015-2017, Mr. Adler worked at Bridgewater Associates, where he was responsible for senior investment and management recruiting.
Mr. Adler has also held senior management positions at startups: (1) CFO / COO at Heisenberg, a CBD venture in Denver; (2) COO of an institutional trading desk for Kraken, a leading international crypto-currency trading platform; (3) co-founder of Sator Square Partners, among the first crypto-currency hedge funds; and, (4) COO of Tradehill, among the first bitcoin exchanges.Mr. Adler holds an AB from Princeton University, and an MBA from the University of Michigan. Mr. Adler is a CFA Charterholder, and Past Chairman of the CFA Seminars Board of Regents.
