Shailen is responsible for investment strategy and product innovation at NLC. NLC's focus is on providing firm and GP finance across private markets through structured deployment of institutional capital.

Prior to joining NLC, Shailen headed the corporate advisory group at Macfarlanes and was an engagement partner at EY, heading their CFO Advisory business for Asset Managers. These roles included the setup of new teams and covered transaction structuring, valuation and investment governance, ESG, technical accounting and regulatory capital advisory across traditional asset managers and private markets.

Shailen graduated in Economics from UCL and is an ICAEW qualified Chartered Accountant and Business Finance Professional.
