As Chief Operating Officer, Ted Dillon leads Clean Energy Ventures' expansion strategy and manages the functional operations of the firm. He also acts as senior advisor on early commercialization to the firm's portfolio companies to support swift commercialization.

Prior to joining Clean Energy Ventures, Mr. Dillon served as Managing Director for the strategic marketing and consulting firm Captains of the Industry, where he oversaw the firm's profitability, drove business development, and led growth initiatives. Mr. Dillon has spent his career as an operations, growth, and marketing executive advising both global energy companies and early-stage climate tech startups, including MIT, First Wind, innogy (now E.ON), Apex Clean Energy, DNV GL, and more.

He has an Executive Certificate in Management & Leadership from MIT and a BA in Film Studies from Boston College with germane work in Physics and Computer Science.
