With nearly two decades of experience in the alternative investment industry, Tyler Dennin has built a distinguished career leading complex fund accounting operations and driving strategic transformation across private markets. His expertise spans private credit, private equity, real estate, hybrid structures, hedge funds, and BDCs, with a proven track record of delivering scalable operating models and high-quality outcomes for sophisticated asset managers. Tyler is recognized colleagues for his strategic perspective, leadership, and ability to deliver consistent, high-quality outcomes.

As Executive Director and Head of Private Markets Fund Accounting at Waystone (US), Tyler leads the accounting and reporting functions for private equity, credit, and broader private markets solutions. He oversees global teams across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring operational excellence, consistent service delivery, and best‑in‑class reporting for Waystone’s expanding private markets client base.

In addition to his operational leadership, Tyler plays an active role in shaping the Waystone’s strategic direction. He partners closely with commercial teams on complex technical sales and solution design, supporting the acquisition and scaling of new client mandates. He also collaborates with the Waystone Product team to evaluate emerging technologies, platforms, and vendor partnerships that enhance scalability and efficiency.

Tyler leads engagements with internal and external auditors for his division and is a key contributor to Waystone’s AI initiatives, supporting the adoption of next-generation tools and workflows that strengthen data quality, automation, and client experience.

Prior to his current role, Tyler served as Senior Manager of Private Equity at Centaur Fund Services USA until its acquisition by Waystone in 2023. During this time, he was instrumental in scaling the US business, acting as a senior escalation point for complex client matters and led initiatives that supported the firm’s growth and successful integration into Waystone.
Earlier in his career, Tyler held senior roles at leading global financial institutions. At State Street, he served as Vice President, managing strategic client relationships, leading large-scale onboarding, and conversion programs, and advancing technology-driven reporting solutions. At Citigroup, he was an Assistant Vice President, where he managed global teams and supported numerous complex fund launches and conversions.

Tyler holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Montclair State University.
