Wendy Beer serves as an Independent Director with Channel Capital. Before joining Channel, she was an Independent Director with Azimuth Governance.

Earlier, Wendy was Managing Director and Head of Wells Fargo Prime Services’ Business Consulting Group, where she advised hedge funds on business strategy and operational best practices. She also served as a consultant with Tiger Bay Advisors, providing interim and ongoing subject matter expertise to help hedge funds strengthen key business functions.

Wendy’s prior experience includes leadership roles across the industry — as a Director in Credit Suisse’s Global Credit Products group, where she focused on business development and structuring tailored leveraged facilities for alternative asset managers, and within Salomon Smith Barney’s legal department. She began her career as a Senior Attorney in the SEC’s Enforcement Division.

Wendy holds a B.A. in Communications from Northwestern University, a J.D. from Brooklyn Law School, and a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the London School of Economics. She holds Series 7, 53, and 63 licenses and has been admitted to the New York and New Jersey bars.
