He has over 8 years of experience in African private equity and venture capital, with a focus on investor relations and communications.

Prior to joining AVCA, Alfonso was Senior Reporter at Private Equity Africa, as well as an Advisor on the PEA Awards.

He holds an MA in Journalism, Media and Globalisation with a specialisation in Business and Finance from City, University of London.
