• Amit is the Managing Partner at Asha Ventures and has 17+ years of end-to-end investment experience focused on India. Asha Ventures is a tech-led investor backing ambitious entrepreneurs who leverage technology and innovation to build businesses focused on the Emerging Middle Class in India.

• Most recently, Amit was part of IIFL Private Equity where he led the firm's investments across Financial, Technology and Consumer sectors. During his tenure Amit was responsible for several marquee investments across sectors which delivered stellar returns to investors. He has served as Director on the board of Northern Arc (filed for IPO), Kogta Financial (Exited), Happily Unmarried (Acquired) and Pickrr Technologies.

• Other investments at IIFL that Amit was responsible for include Nazara Tech (IPO), NSDL Ltd (Part- Exited), NSE (Part-Exited) and Vastu Housing Finance.

• Earlier, Amit has worked with Motilal Oswal Private Equity which is a mid-market focused domestic private equity fund which has delivered stellar returns. At Motilal, Amit led the effort to kickstart the Pharma & Healthcare investment practice. He was responsible for investment in Arinna Lifesciences and was involved in Dixon Technologies (IPO).

• He has earlier worked with Mayfield Fund, ICICI Prudential AMC, PwC & Citibank.

• Holds an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad and B.Tech from LIT, Nagpur. He has been recognized as Top 40 under 40 Investment Professionals by AIWMI.
