Andrew Kahn, CEO of Partners for Growth (PFG), has been in the business of providing financing to technology companies for 35 years and chairs PFG’s investment committee. Prior to co-founding PFG, from 2000–2004, he was a general partner in JP Morgan’s (“JPMP”) buyout and growth equity practice. Andrew also managed two of the firm’s venture capital funds totaling over $400 million of invested capital. Prior to JPMP, he held a variety of senior roles at San Francisco investment bank Hambrecht & Quist. These included General Partner of Access Technology Partners (a venture capital fund), a Managing Director of the H&Q Investment Bank, and President of Hambrecht & Quist Guaranty Finance. Prior to H&Q, Andrew was a Manager at the Massachusetts Industrial Finance Agency where he had responsibility for taxable and tax-exempt bond financings to small businesses as well as managing the firm’s direct lending program. Andrew holds a B.A. from the University of Michigan.
