Bas Hochstenbach is Dutch-born, living on the African continent for the past 20 years. His passion is the building of economic models that drive high impact on the African continent.
Bas co-founded eco-tourism leader Asilia Africa in 2004 and grew this company to an award-winning company employing around 1000 staff and being pivotal in conserving millions of hectares of iconic Africa nature.
Following the journey with Asilia Africa, Bas co-founded E4E Africa. E4E Africa brings together a unique group of experienced African founders and aligned global capital to support entrepreneurs building companies of systemic value to the African continent.
Prior to coming to Africa, Bas studied in Leiden (Netherlands) and Berkeley (USA) and worked at McKinsey & Company.
