Charlie Sichel is a Managing Partner at FLS Group AG and has been involved since inception.

Charlie brings +20 years of experience in the financial services industry, working across forestry, commodity trading, and investments, as well as private equity, largely in emerging markets.

Charlie began his career at Ernst & Young, before specializing in commodity trading and investments at ED&F Man Group on a global basis. He has been involved in private equity, as both a consultant with Alvarez & Marsal overseeing portfolio company turnarounds, and as CFO and investment director of an investment fund focused on forestry and carbon investments in South America (Mercosur region), including Paraguay since 2017.

He has extensive emerging market experience and speaks fluent French & Spanish. Charlie holds a M.A. in modern languages from Edinburgh University, is a chartered accountant (CA), and holds an MBA from INSEAD business school.
