David leads the Boost Africa TA program, supporting African VC funds and portfolio companies backed by the European Investment Bank. He is a founding partner of the African Angel Academy (AAA), an initiative focused on training angel investors in Africa. As a private investor, David participates in Rally Cap, an angel fund investing in fintech and climate tech. David co-founded the African Business Angel Network (ABAN) and served as its first executive director. He has advised the FMO Ventures program, supported various GIZ programs, and collaborated with organizations like VC4A, Dutch NGO Spark, and the Ignite Foundation, all dedicated to fostering entrepreneurship in Africa. Before transitioning into early-stage investing, David worked in the corporate sector, managing companies across West Africa, Egypt, Russia, India, and the USA. He holds degrees in Economics, Business, and International Relations from the University of Oregon, Nyenrode Business University, Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, and Clingendael.
