Henry’s knowledge of the private equity markets in central and eastern Europe is unique. He witnessed firsthand the transformation of the region in over three decades of investing since the fall of the Berlin wall. Henry has completed more private equity secondary transactions in central and eastern Europe than anyone else. A partner and investment committee member at Alpha Associates since 2008 until the launch of speak invest in January 2024, Henry served on numerous private equity investment committees, corporate boards, and advisory boards. Prior to that, he made financial sector private equity investments for EBRD, including complex bank turnarounds and privatisations, and helped create the EBRD’s private equity funds investment team in the 1990s and early 2000s
