Jennifer Buckley is the Founder and Managing Director of Sweef Capital, a women-led impact investment firm based in Singapore that invests in the potential of women and the future of the Asia Pacific. The firm provides equity and quasi-equity capital to growth-stage companies across Southeast Asia, focusing on sectors including healthcare, education, food systems and climate resilience.

Jennifer founded Sweef Capital in 2021 after leading the Asia and women’s economic empowerment investment programmes at SEAF, where she led the SEAF Women’s Opportunity Fund and contributed to the development of gender-lens investing benchmarks for institutional markets. She brings more than two decades of private equity leadership experience across Europe and Asia, including senior roles at GE Capital, Private Advisors and Goldman Sachs International.

At Sweef Capital, Jennifer leads an investment strategy that embeds women’s economic participation as a core driver of value creation, operationalised through the firm’s Gender ROI™ framework. Her work focuses on mobilising capital toward inclusive businesses expanding access to essential services and economic opportunity.

Jennifer holds an MSc in International Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics, as well as law degrees from the University of Canterbury.
