Mr. Pano is the partner responsible for the Impact & Return Private Equity Growth Capital strategy at Vinci Compass since its inception. He was previously CEO of Cecrisa, a Vinci Compass portfolio company, for nearly five years. Before that, he managed NE I, a growth capital fund at Banco Pactual, and was founder and CEO of LID Group, an internet and SME investment company backed by a Banco Pactual affiliate. Earlier, he worked as a Principal at Booz & Company across several international offices, and began his career at Accenture, with a summer position at Intel Corp. He holds an MSc in Industrial Engineering from Pontificia Universidad Católica Argentina and an MBA from the Foster School of Business at the University of Washington. Originally from Argentina, he has lived in Brazil for 25 years and is based in São Paulo with his wife, Candida, and their two sons, Francisco and Bento. The family actively supports autism spectrum disorder (ASD) organizations in Brazil, inspired by Francisco, who is on the spectrum.
