Jurgen is an Executive Vice President and Head: Sponsor Coverage with Standard Bank Group. He has over 20 years investment banking experience and has led multiple public and private equity and debt capital raisings and M&A transactions in emerging markets and particularly across Africa. His clients include global and regional private equity funds, infrastructure funds, family offices, development finance institutions and sovereign wealth funds. Prior to joining Standard Bank Group, Jurgen was with Deutsche Bank, Lehman Brothers and Bank of America Merrill Lynch. Jurgen graduated from London Business School with a Master in Finance degree.
