Leticia Ferreras Astorqui

Portfolio Manager, Development Finance at Allianz Global Investors

Leticia Ferreras is a portfolio manager for the Allianz Global Investors’ Development Finance strategy, managing over $2bn of commitments. Leticia joined AllianzGI almost two years ago to help expand AllianzGI’s presence in Emerging Markets (EM) and has since focused on the launch of the Credit-Enhanced EM investment strategy (2021) as well as the structuring and fundraising of a new blended finance debt vehicle focused on climate solutions in EM (exp. 2022).

Prior to joining AllianzGI, Leticia worked at Macquarie Capital focusing on energy principal investments in LatinAmerica. Before that, she was part of the Project Finance team at MUFG Union Bank based out of New York City focusing on infrastructure and energy transactions across the Americas.

Leticia holds a BS in Political Economy from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.
