Patrick CheungFounding Partner at ZWC PartnersPanellist
Profile
Patrick Cheung is the Founding Partner of ZWC Partners, an Asia-rooted, dual-currency private equity investment firm focused on growth-stage investments and strategic buyout opportunities across the technology and consumer sectors in global high-growth markets.
Under his leadership, ZWC Partners has evolved from a regional platform to a globally connected investment firm, with offices in China, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, France, and Italy. The firm manages over USD2.5 billion in assets and has made over 100 investments.
A core differentiator of ZWC is its LP base, anchored by long-standing relationships that Patrick has built over the years. This ecosystem supports ZWC’s two-way globalization strategy: investing in international brands with growth potential in China and Asia while supporting homegrown champions in their global expansion.
Before establishing ZWC Partners, Patrick was a successful serial entrepreneur who built and scaled businesses, developing deep expertise in strategy, execution and consumer insights. He brings this founder’s mindset to his investment philosophy.
Patrick has built a strong investment track record across Asia and Europe, with notable investments including Amer Sports (AS.US), Frette, Gentle Monster, Focus Media (002027.SZ), Xpeng (XPEV.US), Horizon Robotics (9660.HK), GoTo (GOTO.JK), J&T Express (1519.HK), Eswin (688783.SH), 4Paradigm (6682.HK), XtalPi (2228.HK), Medbanks (0314.HK), Boss Zhipin (BZ.US, 2076.HK), Momenta, KUNLUNXIN, Jaguar Micro, IMOU, SprintRay, Vevor, 58.com, Mobike, Baichuan AI, and more.
