He has also been a guests on multiple podcasts including some held by the government of India. He is on a mission to offset 40Million tons of carbon footprint (1% of India’s annual carbon emissions) by investing in breakthrough technologies. This goal made him enter the exciting, yet nascent, world of Climate Tech. Raiyaan is a strong believer in the power of innovation. He sees immense opportunity in the 70% of technologies crucial for achieving net-zero that are still in their early stages. Raiyaan recognizes the urgency of the climate crisis. The critical 1.5-degree Celsius threshold looms large, and achieving net-zero emissions is no longer a future goal, but an immediate necessity. While global investments in Climate Tech have seen a surge to $1.5 trillion since 2022, a significant gap of $3 trillion annually remains. Bridging this gap is paramount to reaching net-zero targets.
