Raiyaan Shingati
Co-Founder & Managing Partner at Transition Venture Capital
Speaker

Profile

Raiyaan is the Co-founder and Managing Partner of Transition VC (TVC), where he leads the firm’s strategic vision, fundraising, and investor relations. With a decade of experience in Private Equity and Venture Capital, he has a solid foundation as a Chartered Accountant and a Diploma in General Management.

A passionate investor and board member in the Energy Transition sector, Raiyaan has played a pivotal role in the growth of companies such as Protonas, Fitsol, Matel Motion and Energy Solutions Pvt Ltd, and Emo Energy. With a longstanding partnership with Shoeb spanning over five years, he attributes their complementary skills to the success of Transition VC.

Raiyaan is dedicated to tackling the world’s climate crisis and accelerating India’s journey towards Net Zero. As a Climate Tech speaker, he has been invited to multiple conferences in India and the Middle East to share his insights on the Energy Transition Opportunity, projected to be a $200 billion+ market by 2030. He has also been featured on several podcasts, including those hosted by the Government of India.

His mission is to offset 40 million tons of carbon footprint—1% of India’s annual carbon emissions—by investing in breakthrough technologies. He sees immense potential in the 70% of crucial net-zero technologies still in their early stages, presenting an opportunity to reshape the future. From electric mobility to renewable energy, Raiyaan champions investments across the entire Climate Tech value chain, advocating for the alignment of financial success with environmental responsibility.

Recognizing the urgency of the climate crisis, Raiyaan emphasizes the need for immediate action. While global Climate Tech investments have surged to $1.5 trillion since 2022, a significant gap of $3 trillion annually remains. Bridging this gap is essential to achieving net-zero targets and securing a sustainable future for the planet.
