Rajat is the Head of South and Southeast Asia at Women’s World Banking Asset Management (WAM) and plays a leadership role in determining the firm’s regional investment priorities. He has nearly two decades of experience across investing, consulting, strategy, and operations. Rajat has extensively worked across emerging markets to understand and invest in businesses that are built around informal economy and low-income customer segment. He has led investment strategy at multiple firms with roles spanning the entire life cycle of fund conception, fund raising, capital deployment, portfolio management and divestments. Rajat also has deep experience in organizational design and building high performance teams.

Rajat has previously worked in organizations like Elevar Equity, LGT Group, CRISIL and Reliance. He is passionate about empowerment of underserved women and holds high admiration for their resilience and entrepreneurial spirit.
