Profile
Teddy is an Africa Investment Advisor (East Africa) at the U.S. Development Finance Corporation (DFC). He is responsible for business development and due diligence support in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi.
Prior to joining DFC, Teddy was an Investment Professional at the Soros Economic Development Fund, the Impact Investing arm of the Open Society Foundations. He worked on strategy design and implementation on investing in Agribusinesses in Sub-Saharan Africa and his investing role included sourcing, underwriting, and monitoring various direct and indirect investments.
Teddy also worked as a Leveraged Finance banker at J.P. Morgan in New York where he focused on high yield bond and leverage loan originations for clients in the natural resources, homebuilding, consumer, and retail sectors.
Teddy holds a Master of Science from MIT’s School of Economics and a Bachelor in Economics from Williams College.
