Kate Richard is Founder, Chief Executive Officer and Co-Chief Investment Officer of Warwick Investment Group and has been involved in all phases of Warwick’s development since founding the firm in 2010. Kate is a member of the firm’s Investment, Valuation and Compliance Committees.
Today Warwick has over 125 employees in its four offices in New York, London, Oklahoma City and Dallas. The firm’s largest team is the data science team which specializes in government data. Warwick’s sector-specific teams invest through separate pools of capital in energy, energy transition royalties, critical energy metals / processing plants and real estate.
Prior to founding Warwick, Kate worked at MSD Capital, Michael Dell’s private investment fund in New York, making public and private investments in the natural resources space globally. Previously, she invested in public and private debt and equity of mining and energy companies for Serengeti Asset Management, a multi-strategy investment fund based in New York. She began her career at Goldman Sachs, working in real estate private equity and investment banking in New York, London and Paris. Kate previously served on the Boards of Directors of Flotek Industries, Inc. (NYSE: FTK), Imerys, SA (EPA: NK), a Paris-based industrial conglomerate and Abraxas Petroleum Corp (NASD: AXAS).
