Abdulla Zaid leads research on sustainability and climate investment solutions in private-capital funds. He brings expertise in sustainable investing, particularly in energy transition, climate risk assessment, data reporting and engagement as well as integrating sustainability targets in private-capital portfolio construction. Abdulla is an economist by trade, and previously worked in the forestry-products markets and macroeconomic policies. He holds a master’s degree in development economics and policy from the University of Manchester and a bachelor’s degree in economics and political science from St. Lawrence University. Abdulla holds the CFA® certificate in ESG investing.
