Allen Waldrop is the Deputy CIO – Private Markets for the Alaska Permanent Fund Corporation (“APFC”) where he oversees the Real Estate and Private Income (Private Credit and Infrastructure) teams in addition to leading the Private Equity team.
Allen started his career with KPMG before joining LP Capital Advisors in 2005, which was acquired by Pavilion Alternatives Group in 2016 and subsequently Mercer in 2018. Prior to joining APFC in October 2022, Allen was Managing Director at Grafine Partners and had also been an advisor to APFC for several years. Through these roles, Allen developed extensive experience sourcing, screening and executing private markets investments as well as building and managing alternative investment portfolios on behalf of public and corporate pension plans, sovereign wealth funds, family offices, endowments and foundations.
Mr. Waldrop holds a BS in Accounting from San Diego State University, is a CFA charterholder and a CPA (inactive). He serves on the Board of the Sacramento Children’s Home and is a member of the El Dorado County Search and Rescue team.
