Amanda Dupuy Ugarte is a Managing Director and Global Head of Secondary Advisory at BofA Securities. In her role, she advises financial sponsors across a broad spectrum of strategic GP-led transactions including single and multi-asset continuation funds, fund restructurings and tender offers. Prior to joining BofA, Amanda was the Head of U.S. Secondary Advisory in the Private Capital Advisory group at Lazard and before that, she was at PJT Partners, specializing in GP-led secondary advisory. Amanda has also held roles on the Healthcare Advisory team at PJT Partners and in Morgan Stanley’s investment banking division, working across the Healthcare, Technology and Management banking teams. Mrs. Ugarte holds a B.A. in Economics and Psychology from Wellesley College (summa cum laude) and an MBA from Harvard Business School. Amanda sits on the Board of Women in Secondaries (WinS) and was named a “Woman of Influence in Private Markets” in the Private Equity category by Private Equity International in 2024.
