Andrew Peters is a Managing Director of New York Life Investments and leads a team responsible for manager selection, investment due diligence and investment oversight. Additionally he is a member of the firm’s Valuation Committee, and several Risk Committees. He previously was Head of Alternatives Risk at Invesco and prior to that was Chief Risk Officer of OC Private Capital, a joint venture between OppenheimerFunds and the Carlyle Group. Prior to that he was Risk Manager at Avenue Capital, a distressed credit hedge fund and prior to that he was a Director at Chatham Financial, a derivatives and risk management consultancy. He holds an MBA in Finance (honors) from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
