Dean Dulchinos is Managing Director and Head of Real Estate Credit at ORIX Corporation USA. He is responsible for expanding ORIX USA’s third party commercial real estate (CRE) credit asset management business and serves as a Portfolio Manager developing and managing investment products that leverage the firm’s real estate businesses.

Mr. Dulchinos has over 20 years of experience building and managing global CRE platforms. Before joining ORIX USA, he served as Head of Debt Portfolio Management and was a voting member of the debt investment committee at AEW Capital Management where he was focused on growing a new CRE debt platform. Previously, he spent 17 years at Barings/MassMutual companies in senior leadership roles, including Head of Debt Portfolio Management and Capital Markets and Head of Real Estate Debt Structured Investments where his responsibilities included new CRE debt product development and capital raising for commingled funds and separately managed accounts, oversight of the structured lending and agency lending businesses, and global capital markets activity. At Barings, Mr. Dulchinos chaired the structured debt investment committee and was a voting member of the equity investment committee.

He joined the firm in 2024 and is based in New York.
