Dev Kantesaria has been an active investor in public equities for over 25 years. He is the Founder and Portfolio Manager of Valley Forge Capital Management, one of the largest equity hedge fund managers in the country with approximately $5 billion in assets under management. He has been responsible for overseeing the investment portfolio since the Firm’s inception in 2007. Valley Forge runs a long-biased equity strategy, employing a rigorous, bottom-up fundamental approach to identify high-quality businesses with leading industry positions. Previously, Dev was a venture capital investor for 18 years, working with numerous private and public companies. He was a Founder and General Partner of Devon Park Bioventures and a Principal at TL Ventures. He has served on the Board of Directors of over twenty companies. He received a B.S. from M.I.T. and an M.D. from Harvard Medical School. Dev lives in Miami with his wife, Melissa, and their two sons and two maltipoos. Dev and his family are intensely devoted to wildlife conservation.
