Jay Miller

Jay Miller brings over 30 years of real estate investment experience to Forum, with a proven track record in developing business strategies, managing teams, and driving growth. As CIO, he leads the firm’s real estate investment team, chairs investment committees, and focuses on expanding multifamily equity and debt investment opportunities.

Before joining Forum, Jay spent 16 years at DWS Group, a global asset management firm, where he co-led the flagship open-ended investment fund and was the lead portfolio manager for the value-add fund. He also served as Executive Director at JLL, a global real estate services firm, and as an attorney with Orrick and Gordon & Rees, LLP, specializing in technology, energy, and financial sectors.

Jay holds a Bachelor of Arts in English & Religious Studies from the University of Virginia and a Juris Doctorate from Washington and Lee University School of Law. He currently serves on the Executive Board of the Real Estate & Construction Council for City of Hope National Medical Center and was an Independent Director and Audit Committee Chair at Shelton Capital Management from 2002 to 2014.
