Jean Raby is Partner, Chief Client & Business Development Officer at Astorg, where he oversees investor relations, marketing, communications, and corporate development.

Before joining Astorg in 2022, he held several senior roles across finance and industry. He spent most of his career at Goldman Sachs, which he joined in 1996, eventually becoming Partner and leading operations in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and later Russia as Co CEO.

After leaving Goldman Sachs in 2012, he served as EVP and Chief Financial & Legal Officer at Alcatel Lucent from 2013 to 2016. He then became CEO of Natixis Investment Managers and Head of Natixis’ asset and wealth management businesses from 2017 to 2021. Immediately prior to Astorg, he was Co CEO of Odyssey Acquisition, a SPAC listed in Amsterdam that merged with Benevolent AI in 2022.

A dual Canadian French national, he holds law and international relations degrees from Université Laval, Cambridge & Harvard Law School.
