As a Partner at StepStone Group, John leads the firm’s business development and investor relations efforts within the venture capital and growth segment. Prior to joining StepStone Group in September 2021, John led the investor relations function at Greenspring Associates (which was acquired by StepStone Group), a venture capital platform. John is an investment professional by training, having focused on due diligence for fund and direct investments on both a primary and secondary basis earlier in his career. John has previous work experience at Cary Street Partners, a boutique investment bank in Richmond, Virginia. He graduated cum laude from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Art History.
