Kevin Jiang is the Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer at Mangusta Capital, a venture firm dedicated to backing industry-specific AI startups at the application layer to drive real-world transformation. Focused on early to growth-stage companies, the firm leverages a disciplined approach and global partnerships to support founders building impactful, scalable technologies that optimize workflows and unlock efficiencies.
Before founding Mangusta Capital, Kevin was a member of the founding investment team at SoftBank Vision Fund, where he led Software and Logistics growth equity investments in North America. During his decade at SoftBank, Kevin spearheaded marquee deals including Flexport, ShipBob, and Wiz, generating significant returns for investors. He served on the boards of key portfolio companies, advising on strategic and financial decisions, including M&A and IPO processes.
Kevin’s career spans multiple asset classes, bringing a uniquely disciplined financial and operational lens to venture capital. He previously worked in Private Equity at Apollo Global Management and in Public Markets at Soros Fund Management, covering Technology, Media, and Telecom. He began his career in Investment Banking at Goldman Sachs and holds an A.B. in Economics from Harvard.
A Silicon Valley native and child of first-generation Chinese immigrants, Kevin grew up in Cupertino, California. He enjoys tennis, golf, and reading biographies when not sourcing his next unicorn deal.
