As the Founding General Partner of TheVentureCity, Laura González-Estéfani brings extensive experience in scaling global tech companies.

TheVentureCity is an early-stage venture fund that believes “talent has no zip code,” investing across Europe, the U.S., and Latin America.

Previously, González-Estéfani was an early employee at Facebook and held leadership positions at eBay and Siemens. She is an early investor and serves on the boards of RecargaPay in Brazil and Clip in Mexico—both fintech unicorns—and was the first investor as well in Returnly, a fintech company later acquired by Affirm.

In addition, she is a board member of CaixaBank, a publicly traded European bank, and was named a Henry Crown Fellow by the Aspen Institute in 2022.
