Laurence Russian is a Founding Partner and Portfolio Manager at ABS. He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and Operating Committee. Prior to co-founding ABS, Mr. Russian was a Director in CSAM’s Alternative Investments Group. He joined CSAM in 1998 as a result of Credit Suisse Group’s acquisition of Garantia. He joined Banco de Investimentos Garantia in 1994 to help build the Alternative Asset Management business for the firm. Mr. Russian started his career in 1993 at Scudder, Stevens & Clark.

He holds a BA in Economics from Ohio Wesleyan University and an MBA in Finance from New York University’s Stern School of Business. He is a CFA charterholder.
