At General Catalyst, Marc leads GC’s Creation strategy, which is focused on incubations as well as transformations and venture buyouts. Prior to joining GC, Marc spent years as a founder-operator with an emphasis on new fintech, AI, and crypto technologies. Marc co-founded Tagomi, one of the first institutional prime brokerages for digital assets (Coinbase purchased Tagomi in 2020), which is now Coinbase Prime.

As an angel investor, Marc worked closely with founders on sales, distribution, and fundraising, investing from his family office in early stage fintech, crypto, and AI/start-up tooling companies. He is an early investor in Ramp, Lula, Zip, Stark Bank, Seel, Harvey AI, Codeium, Together AI, Vantage, Doppel, Neon, Eigen Layer, Monad, Sardine, Flowdesk, Payrails, Bridge, Tenderly, and others.
