With over a decade of enterprise sales and investment experience, Marell leverages a range of professional expertise and a diverse network to support founders in the earliest stages of their journey. As an operator and investor across various sectors - including industrial automation, robotics, information technology, enterprise software, cybersecurity and fintech - Marell strives to empower the most innovative and exceptional founders. Prior to founding Exceptional, Marell worked at Okta and as an investor at Softbank. He is a Kauffman Fellow and a graduate of the University of Michigan, where he played football.
