Matt Wesley is Global Co-Head of Private Capital Advisory at Jefferies, as well as Global Head of GP-Led Advisory. He has over 14 years of experience in Private Equity and Capital Markets. Prior to joining Jefferies in 2021, Matt was Head of GP-Led Advisory Americas at PJT Partners, where he led the origination and execution of some of the earliest and largest single-asset secondary transactions ever completed, including transactions for TPG and Riverstone as well as the largest real estate continuation fund transaction completed on behalf of Pretium Partners.

Matt previously spent four years on the buy-side at Coller Capital. Prior to Coller, Matt was a lawyer at Sullivan & Cromwell where he focused on secondaries, fund formation and FIG M&A. Matt earned his B.S. in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and his J.D. with a concentration in Business Law from Cornell Law School.
