Neil Auerbach is CEO & Chairman of Hudson Sustainable Group (“Hudson”), an alternative investment firm focused on sustainability based in Miami, Florida. Prior to founding Hudson in 2007, Neil was a Partner at Goldman Sachs & Co., where he founded the U.S. renewable energy investment business and led several of Goldman’s most successful investments. Over the course of his 20+ year involvement in the sector, Neil has led over 30 investments in 26 countries and has deployed in excess of $3 billion while backing numerous successful businesses in the sector. Neil has played a leadership role in the design of many of the financing structures in common use in the US renewable energy sector today, including tax equity and various financing products for the residential solar finance space. Neil serves as a senior advisor for the American Conservation Coalition (ACC) and has published multiple op-eds focused on improving the United States approach to energy policy.
