Nick Turgeon is a Portfolio Manager at Aperture Investors with over 13 years of investment experience, specializing in asset-based and specialty finance. He has led the sourcing, analysis, structuring, and management of more than $2 billion in equity investments across these sectors, leveraging a deep network of relationships for deal origination.

Prior to joining Aperture, Nick was a Managing Director on the Specialty Finance team at Castlelake, where he focused on investment opportunities in consumer, SME and esoteric finance. He previously worked in the Leveraged Finance group at U.S. Bank, executing transactions with private equity sponsors. Nick began his career as an analyst in the Fixed Income Sales and Trading group at Piper Sandler (formerly Piper Jaffray).

He holds a B.A. in Finance and Economics from the University of Minnesota and is a CFA Charterholder.
