Nick Turgeon is a Portfolio Manager and Global Head of Asset-Based Finance at Aperture Investors. With over 13 years of investing experience, Nick specializes in sourcing, analyzing, structuring, and managing asset-based finance investments. He brings a strong network and deep expertise across the asset-based and specialty finance sectors.

Before joining Aperture, Nick was a Managing Director on the Specialty Finance team at Castlelake, where he focused on opportunities in consumer, commercial, and esoteric assets. Prior to that, he worked in the Leveraged Finance group at U.S. Bank, concentrating on transactions with private equity sponsors. Nick began his career as an analyst in Piper Sandler’s (formerly Piper Jaffray) Fixed Income Sales and Trading group. He holds a B.A. from the University of Minnesota and is a CFA Charterholder.
