Raphaëlle d'Ornano is the Founder and Managing Partner of D'Ornano + Co.

Before fully embracing her career as an entrepreneur, Raphaëlle started her career in Big 4 firms where it quickly became clear to her that the traditional approach to due diligence was not appropriate to understanding innovative and fast-growing business models. She then decided to set up her firm and to develop a unique and proprietary diligence approach for these assets.

Expert and passionate about the technology sector, Raphaëlle has conducted more than 500 due diligence assignments, both buy-side and sell-side on tech or tech-enabled companies, for global investors across all asset classes (Venture Capital, Growth, and Buyout).

Raphaëlle has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2015.

In addition to the creation and development of D'Ornano + Co., Raphaëlle teaches the course Growth and Profitability drivers in tech businesses at ESSEC Business School. She was recently invited by Forbes to be a member of its Finance Council to promote thought leadership regarding the changes underway in the Private Markets.

Raphaëlle was elected Young Leader in the 2022 class of the French American Foundation.

Marathon runner and former triathlete, Raphaëlle lives between New York and Paris with her husband and two children.
