Ravi is Head of Alternative Investments and the Managing Director of Nassau Alternatives Investments LLC (“NAI”). He is responsible for overseeing Nassau’s Alternative Investment strategy and portfolio, as well as the management and growth of NAI. Ravi joined Nassau in June 2020 after having spent 12 years at AXA XL (“XL”, f.k.a. XL Group Ltd and XL Catlin). At XL, he most recently served as Portfolio Manager – Alternative Investments, with primary responsibility for the management and oversight of XL’s private equity and real estate portfolios (including funds and co-investments in both asset classes). He was also a core member of the AXA Group Centers of Expertise in private equity and real estate, which are responsible for oversight and implementation of AXA’s global and group-wide strategies and investment activities in these asset classes. In addition to alternative investments, Ravi also held roles during his tenure at XL that involved management of the firm’s fixed income portfolio and served on various investment-related committees. Prior to XL, Ravi’s experience includes direct private equity at Madison Dearborn Partners and investment banking at Bear Stearns. Ravi earned a B.Sc. in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, with concentrations in Finance, Legal Studies, and Management.
