Seth Weissman is the Founder and Managing Partner of Urban Standard Capital (USC), a New York City–based real estate investment firm that has deployed over $2.1 billion in equity and debt since its inception in 2014. USC combines in-house development expertise with creative, bespoke financing solutions across core-plus, value-add, and private credit strategies. The firm invests on behalf of foundations, pension funds, insurance companies, and family offices, including through a joint venture with GCM Grosvenor.
Over the course of his career, Seth has executed more than $2 billion in middle-market real estate transactions—across both equity and credit—successfully navigating multiple market cycles.
Before founding USC, Seth worked in the real estate private equity group at Perry Capital, a multi-strategy hedge fund, and in the Investment Banking Division at Goldman Sachs & Co.
He earned a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
