Stephen George is the Founding Partner of InterAlpen Partners, a boutique private equity firm investing in founder‑led technology, healthcare and energy businesses. With 35+ years of global investment experience, he has helped build companies generating more than $650B in shareholder value.

Before InterAlpen, Stephen was the Founding CIO and Managing Partner of Capricorn Investment Group, a $10B global investment office. His early investments include Tesla, SpaceX, Twitter, Epic Systems, Addepar, Klarna, Coupang, Mews, Tonies, Auto1, Model ML and Neura Robotics.

He has served on 20+ boards, advised family offices worldwide and previously held roles at Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch and Bankers Trust. He also founded Epylon, a pioneering B2B platform acquired by Accenture.

Stephen holds an honours degree from Cornell University and is a CFA charterholder. He lives in Omaha with his family and is passionate about mountains, endurance sports and philanthropic initiatives supporting veterans, education and the use of AI for good.
