Tom Metzger leads ultra-high-net-worth client strategy for Citizens Private Wealth. In this role, he is driving the firm’s ongoing wealth acceleration strategy to meet the unique needs of high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth individuals, families and businesses. He also leads efforts to attract and retain high-caliber talent, expanding Citizens Private Wealth’s presence in critical markets nationwide.

Citizens Private Wealth offers financial planning, investment management, deposits and lending, estate and trust planning, insurance and asset protection solutions, alternative investments and tax planning and preparation.

Prior to joining Citizens in late 2023, Tom served as Head of Wealth Manager Recruiting at First Republic Bank, where he successfully recruited multiple top Wealth Manager teams. He also held progressively more senior roles at Wells Fargo and JPMorgan Chase.

Born and raised in Minnesota, Tom now lives in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. with his wife and two kids. In his free time, he enjoys coaching his kids’ sports teams. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Bethany Lutheran College in Mankato, Minn., where he also captained both the baseball and basketball teams. He also studied abroad in Spain and Ecuador.
