Mr. El-Asmar is Managing Director for Business Development and Product Solutions at Investcorp Corsair. He joined the firm’s London office in 2009 before relocating to New York in 2016.

Mr. El-Asmar has extensive experience in capital formation, fundraising strategy, product design, and investor relations across North America, Europe, and Asia. He has played a leading role in developing investment products, shaping fundraising strategies, and building long-term partnerships with institutional investors globally.

Earlier in his career, Mr. El-Asmar supported Babcock & Brown’s infrastructure-focused private equity fund, playing a leading role in the origination and execution of real assets investments in Central and Eastern Europe. Mr. El-Asmar also worked in investment banking at HSBC and Deutsche Bank, advising companies on cross-border acquisitions and capital markets transactions.

Mr. El-Asmar holds a B.A. in Economics from the American University of Beirut and a MSc in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, where he graduated with High Distinction.
