Mr. Cain is Partner and Chief Financial Officer at Aethon Energy. Prior to joining Aethon in 2023, he served as Vice President in the Energy Investment Banking group at RBC Capital Markets, where he advised clients on more than $10 billion of corporate M&A, A&D and capital markets transactions. Before joining RBC Capital Markets, Mr. Cain worked at Development Capital Resources, an affiliate of Ares Management, where he invested and managed over $1.2 billion of capital across the energy value chain. He attended Southern Methodist University, earning a B.S. in Biological Sciences as well as an MBA with concentrations in Finance and Accounting through the SMU Cox School of Business.
