Michael Steingold is a Director in the private markets group with experience covering a range of private investments as a researcher, portfolio manager and consultant. Based in Russell Investments’ London office, he currently serves as portfolio manager for global institutional clients investing in real assets and private debt and leads the firm’s research in select infrastructure and real estate strategies.

Michael was previously based in the firm’s Tokyo and Seattle offices. He joined Russell Investments in 2014 from Prologis, a U.S.-based real estate investment trust.

Michael is a CFA charterholder and active contributor to international industry groups such as Urban Land Institute, ANREV and NCREIF. Michael holds degrees in business from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and economics from the University of California, Berkeley
