Roger Ashworth is Head of Research and Senior Portfolio Manager at Saluda Grade. He joined Saluda Grade in June 2024 and is tasked with overseeing all research, data, and analytics within the firm’s asset management division. He was most recently the Head of Securitized-Product Research at Goldman Sachs, and previously spent 10 years at Citigroup as Head of Research for securitization of non-agency mortgages and consumer assets in the U.S. and Europe. Prior to Citigroup, he worked at Amherst Securities, Financial Solutions Partners, and Merrill Lynch. Mr. Ashworth earned a BS in Systems Engineering from the United States Naval Academy. He served as a Submarine Officer on USS Memphis and was the Sonar Instructor at the Naval Submarine School. Mr. Ashworth earned his MBA from Georgetown University.
